Handmade Cotton Rag Paper & Gift wrapping

All of my prints are created on 100% handmade rag cotton paper, which has been a revelation in my print journey. This paper has been around for centuries, yet many people are still unaware of its unique beauty and sustainability. Cotton rag paper is made from the leftover cotton fibers after the ginning process, which are cleaned, de-inked, and processed to remove any impurities. These fibers are then beaten into a pulp, mixed with water, and poured onto a mesh screen. Excess water is pressed out, and the paper is dried to create a strong, durable material that resists tearing and aging.

Cotton rag paper is not only a beautiful choice for printing, but it is also environmentally friendly. It is made from a renewable resource and processed without harmful chemicals, making it a sustainable option for artists and art enthusiasts who are conscious about their environmental impact. All of your purchases are also gift wrapped in my own handmade gift wrapping. I use the ‘‘misprints’’ of my leaf printing and keep these aside. Most printmakers would discard these pieces but they are absolutely beautiful and create the most unique wrapping for your little Chaos treats! It also means that there is zero waste on each purchase!
